Via our BSB fan club site Submitted By: Sue M Want to show the Backstreet Boys that Australian fans are the most dedicated fans in the world? Plus be in the running to win to meet the Backstreet Boys. To do this we need your help to break the record for the 'World's Largest Hug'! This is a call to anyone who is serious about the Backstreet Boys. You will need to be at Fox Studios (Sydney) between 11am and 12pm on Saturday, November 11 to sign up and register. (We will attempt the record at 12.45pm) What you will have to do: Dress in 'Black and Blue' - I don't need to tell you why! Sign your name on a registration form when you arrive so that you will be a registered participant, otherwise it can't be recognised as a world record. Then you will be placed as part of a gigantic circle with your left arm around the person on your left's waist and your right arm around the person on your right's waist. When we give the signal you then squeeze each other for 10 seconds. Easy!!!!! Here comes the hard part - we need to make sure that there are more than 500 of us down there, as the current record is 462 people. We are letting all media know about our attempt and Jive have said that they will get the footage to the Backstreet Boys themselves to show how excited we are about them visiting Sydney and what we have planned for the 19th!!!!! But how do I win to meet the Backstreet Boys? Jive have also promised to draw at random a winner from the world record participants to MEET THE BACKSTREET BOYS!!!!! This is not a joke!!! Jive will also hold the first ADVANCE LISTENING for 'Black and Blue' , further details about this will be announced next week if you log on to Australian Backstreet Boys fan Club at either of these two addresses http://ausbsbfanclub.cjb.net/ or http://www.geocities.com/officialausbsb/ The party will be held somewhere near Fox Studios and you will have to participate in the world record attempt and be in attendance at the party when your name is drawn to win the competition.
