I have a story about Johnny No-name tickets. It's starts out sad and ends up incredible! Here's my story:

About a week ago, my friend IMed me online saying that Johnny No-name tickets went on sale that Saturday. Being that there had been rumors flying around for a while, I decided to check it out. The concert will be at Irving Plaza on April 9, 2000. So, later that day, I called Irving Plaza and asked if it was true that they went on sale that day. They said that they went on sale at 10 AM, Saturday morning.

So, I told my dad and he said that since he'd be in the Ticketmaster area around that time, he'd stop by and wait on line for tickets for a little while. He arrived a little after 10 AM. He got up to the front at about 10:15 and asked the clerk for Johnny No-name tickets. She told him that they had sold out. He asked how they sold out so fast and she said that they'd been on sale for over an hour. He said that was impossible because they had just gone on sale, but she said that they went on sale at 9 AM. He called me on his cell phone and reported the horrible news. I was devastated. I cried for a while, and eventually I calmed down. Little did I know that my devastation would be gone and happiness would appear.

About an hour ago, I was listening to my local radio station, 106.1 BLI and they reported that they would be giving away Johnny tickets. I told my friend who had told me when they went on sale and we were both so excited! When they announced that it was time to call and try to win, I picked up my cordless and dialed the number. Busy. I hit redial. Busy. After about 5 tries, someone answered. "Hello, BLI!" He answered. "Hi, what number am I?" At this point, I had no idea what would come in a few minutes. "What number do u want to be?" he asked. "What do you mean? I'm calling for the AJ McLean tickets." I replied, a little confused. "Ooh, you mean the Johnny No-name tix." "Yeah! That's it!" I answered a little less confused. "What's your name?" "Nicole!" I started getting excited. "Well, you're going to see Johnny No-name!!!" I was in complete shock. "You're kidding!" I had no idea what to do! "No! I'm serious!" He turned to everyone behind him and asked "Am I serious?" "YES!" They all replied. That was my breaking point! I thought it was all a dream, but low and behold, this was reality.

He told me to stay on the line and a woman picked up and recorded all my personal info. Then she gave me info on what to do when the concert day arrived. I was in total, complete SHOCK! I called everyone I know. During my third phone call to a friend, I just started crying. I broke down and tears were running down my eyes. It's been about an hour since I've won and I'm still shaking. I don't know what to say. Well, I guess I should go. I won't be able to sleep tonight, but oh well!
