I read most of opinions about this article and this is my opinion.
How I love this BSB fans who wants to find one person and bushing it.
I want to say to ALL WHO WANT TO LEASTEN.
iT'S NOT A NICK'S FAULT THAT THIS GROUP IS WENT DOWN. hE IS NOT A BAD GUY IN THIS STORY.
tHERE ARE 5 OF THEM AND EACH OF THEM MADE THIS SITUATION HARD.
I READ KEVINS QUETS IN THIS ARTICLE. HE SOUNDS SO DEPRESSING.
NICK IS NOT SELFISH, HE DID A RIGHT THING. STOP BUSHING HIM AND LET HIM BE HAPPY.
All this happen, because they always choose the wrong companies and wrong menegment. If their business with Lou not their fault, but the Firm they hired bythemselves and if this menegment was bad it's just their fault. They was mature enouth to understand that.
How I saw they was ripped by everyone who worked with them so why the hell Nick must always did the same mistakes like others? From BSB new meneger words about Nick I understand they did it againe. They hiered the wrong meneger and it's will effect their future very bad. This idiot even can't understand that sing in such a good hurmony which BSB sing need have practice by years.
And for La Quana (who maybe need to visit doctor to check her ears). Nick is not background singer and he never was. He always have a solo in almost all BSB songs (even when he was just 12 years old). Background in BSB sing Howie and Kevin, so Nick is leader singer with amazing voice. Hes voice is so individual, that fans recognizwed it everywere(like was with small clips in promosquad). I can understand that la Quana is Howies fan and hate Nick, but without Nick there is will be not BSB and will be not BSB fans. 60+% of BSB fans are Nick's fans and if he will go, they went with him.
I know other have a fans base too and I am is a big Kevins fan, but after Nick such a big fan base have just AJ, and if he will be merried soon he will lost some fan base too.
I just very dissupoint in all BSB fans in this opinion tread. It's so easy to blame just Nick and didn't touch others. Why they didn't start to record new album in December-Januar like they said? Because they didn't want. Why we need to blame Nick, that other lost their interes in new album. I understand BSB are all tiered from pressua and many problems which their record company and menegment gave them, but it's not just that. They are tierd from fame, from trying to be always perfect, always first. From this article I understand that they was not happy with B&B and they even don't like it. How you can make music wich you hate? I don't know. I know just one thing. 4 of BSB are tierd from everything, but one is not. he is too young to be tierd and why he must stuck with others with their depression? I don't think he need to do this. I'm happy for Nick and he is like son for me, and I don't like when everyone blamed him and said that it was a bad idea about his new album. I don't think so. It was the right time for him. He is move on, when other still stayed in past. He is young and even if he had 10 years music career he still have many time for his solo career. And for all Nick haters I must say he will be a huge star and it's will be soon, because even he was in a same crap like others he still strong and he can start something new.
many of you said Nick must put the groups interest before his own. Why? Who ask Nick or all group when Kevin and Brian got merried? Who ask Nick when AJ started his Johnny-No_Name concerts? Noone. Who ask Nick when Howie have his DLF tour or when Howie bought his Tabu club or made CD with his sister Pollianne? And what think AJ when he drink alcogol and went to rehab in the middele of the not very successful tour. Why AJ didn't thought about group when he almost ruin BSB career? All 4 ofd them did what they wants and just Nick must got permition to do his solo album. They are all selfish and they did what they wants. All what they did effected all of group, so Nick have his right to make solo album and don't think about others.
I know BSB will do their new album, becaus today I heard and download Nick's interview on MiamiY100 radiostation, and he said he still Backstreet Boy and they will do new album next year. I think he gave other bSB chance work out their problems. He also said He SWEAR THAT NEXT BSB ALBUM WILL BE RELESE, BUT HE SAID NOTHING ABOUT NEXT TOUR. hE NOW CONCETRAITE ON HIS SOLO ALBUM.
Who want to hear this interview can go to my site and download it:

this is my opinion about BSB last problems. Who want to discuss this article feel free to mail me.

I honestly really liked reading the article. I've been a bsb fan 4 about 6 years and i am very proud to say that i will never stop bein a fan. The article is just basically makin us bsb fans know how much the guys have gone through to just make music and get the chance to thank all us fans back for all the support. I definitly agree with kevin though, the chapter 1 album was put out way to soon and it really made it seem like it was the end of the boys.

I think that the boys definitly deserve a time off, lets see they did great shows with their first tour in 98 and millennium was just KICK MAJOR BUTT, and black & blue was awesome, that takes alot of work to do and the boys did dat all for us THE FANS so i think all the bsb fans agree with me wen i say THEY NEED A TIME OFF.

I am so proud of the guys and i cant wait to see aj married i support them in all their decisions and i WILL support nick with his solo album. "help me" is a great song and i love nick so i will be there 4 him to support him. If any of the other guys want to make a solo album i think all of us bsb fans will support them 2. I cant denie the fact that i really miss the boys i really miss seein them 2gether but that'll just be better cuz by the time they come back i'll be even more willing to support them.

As 4 the things that talk about Nsync, well i think that Nsync was just a fake, they definitly were not a group that was suppose to happen, they all need to thank the backstreet boys 4 making "pop" come back and if it werent 4 them Nsync would not be here(even though i wish they were never HERE).

to all those bsb fans lets stand strong guys and wen the boys come back 2gether again lets all give them ONE HELL OF A COME BACK!!!!!!

Where in the article does it say that selling one or a million albums matters? That was not his point, he was saying how 'others' thought...

hey,i've been a total bsb fanatic ever since third grade... and now i'm nearing the middle of my high school career. and my love for the boys have grown imensely over the years. the article frankly pissed me off. it doesn't matter if the boys sold one album or a billion. the fact of the matter is, they have loyal fans who love them and support them no matter what. neil strauss could say whatever he wants, but we all know that mtv and teen mags could kiss our butts. it basically doesn't even matter to us if they don't win stupid teen awards... they've been nominated for 5 grammy's in one year... that's one thing mr. struss over here didn't recognize. well anyways let's just prove the country and the world wrong... bsb's fans are here and here to stay! and please, keep requestin nick and bsb on radio stations... i kno, they never play them... but let's just try and get them some air play!!! I thought it was really cool how Neil Strauss mentioned that BSB were the ones that made it possible for things like TRL and Radio Disney because that's totally true. But I thought it was unfortunate that there were very few quotes from the boys themselves (mainly Kevin, when there were), but ex-record label people who they previously worked with and LOU PEALMAN?! What? And the reporter believed every word he had to say, and seemed to completely take his side. How many times has this man been sued? I thought that was pretty unfair, because people who hadn't previously known about the situation with the changing of record labels, etc. etc. will just read this and automatically take the "other side."
Anyway, other than that, I'm not worried about the Boys' "image" too much. I know that they'll put out a kick-ass album, and hopefully the rumors about "The Lost Boys" will end.

Allright, so like most of you, after reading that article, I realized 2 things. One, BSB should have an episode of Behind the Music, and Two, Lou Pearlman is the reason for all of this trouble. Lets think about this. BSB were the first boy band out there in the early 90`s. Lou wanted to make some quick cash, and after seeing how talented the guys actually were, and how much money they brought in, he decided he could make alot of money off of groups like this. So he decided to try it again with N Sync. He knew they would have most of the same fan base as BSB, and probably figured he would be bringing in twice the amount of money. He seemed to fuel arguments between N Sync and BSB for attention from the media, as well as many fans. He ended up working with O Town and Aaron Carter, and of all the groups mentioned above, they have all sued Pearlman and left his company. Granted, the man got the Boys career started, but he also almost ruined it for them. People may think the guys were sounding greedy for suing Pearlman for the amount of money they asked for, but when you think about it, they deserved alot more than what they got.
I`ve been a die hard BSB fan for about 5 years now, and like everyone else, i have noticed the sharp declinement of BSB appearances, and award show opportunities. But maybe this is the break they need. They have been going NON STOP for God knows how long. Brian and Kevin are probably sick of trying to arrange time with their wives over time with the group, and AJ has his own difficulties to deal with, with being sober and having a wedding coming up. They`re normal people just like me and you. I know personally for me, when i hve a million things going on at one time, i get very stressed and need some chill time. Well in BSB`s case, i think you have to triple the amount of stress thy are dealing with, and realize they just NEED A BREAK. And that`s what they`re doing. Nick is experimenting with his time off, and seeing what it is like to be a solo performer, and just having fun with his own kind of sound. I think this article was a little biased against him, almost naming him as the reason for the bands long break, when it shouldn't have been portrayed in that manner. We know that they are all working hard to make us fans a KICK ASS new album, that both they and we will be proud of. When Backstreet`s back, everyone will know.

I really want to know where everyone is finding the negative in this article. I mean maybe in the first two paragraphs the author says some things that may seem like he's implying BSB is going down, but he goes on to say there's a whole story behind them. And he tells the story. He tells the truth. I'm glad that article was put out, it really just shows the truth.

Why are fans complaining about this article? I don't know. We've always wanted someone to show the world how much BSB goes through and that being a BSB isn't all glitz and glamour, but hard work. The article proves that. We've also always wanted people to know that BSB does care about the group and their fans, the article proves that they have seen their problems and are trying to fix them. They don't want the prices to be out of the roof, they didn't want to release Chapter 1 so early.

If anything, the article does not direct the target as BSB, BUT it makes BSB's managements and labels the targets. He makes BSB look good, and the managements look greedy and forceful. Wait, no, he doesn't make them look good, he just tells it as it is, and it shows BSB are the good guys.

There also may be parts of the articles where people are just reading too closly. For example, the part about Brian's wife. What good wife doesn't have input in what her husband is doing. And obviously if she sees something wrong she's gonna tell her husband about it. And what good husband does not want his wife to give her opinions? No where in that article does it say that Leighanne is causing problems between the guy. Whatever she said was right, because they needed to leave the firm, and they did.

Leaving the Firm seems like a good move, because at the end of the article, the author insinuates that the boys have found their place and they're not that 'lost' anymore. It also says their management 'signs people who are willing to make long commitments to their careers.' Hello!? Don't we want to hear that?? And as for the end, about Nick, that was a QUOTE, not the authors view. And the only reason why their manager probably said that was because EVERYONE is asking about it, so obviously he thinks BSB can make it without Nick (Even though they would not be BSB at all). It shows that he has faith in them, which is important, and he never said he thought Nick was going to leave.

Anyways, I challenge anyone to show me the negative in that article. And if you bring forth anything from the first few paragraphs or quotes, you have not completely read the article.

The article shows how human the Boys are, and how they're trying and still struggling, that it's not an easy ride for them. Didn't we want someone to show that?

If anything, the article is hardly about them at all, it is just telling the Journey of the Backstreet Boys and comparing it to other groups. But more comparing how the managements and Labels treat them like crap and screws them over.

But really, no opinions of the BSB are in there from the author. It's fact, it's truth, it's the road the BSB has been on from Lou to now, and nothing else.

hey bsb/fans! my name is shelby and i am 13 yrs old..i have been a huge bsb fan since i first heard my best friend (at the time) sara singing as long as u love me in school.i started singing it with her, even tho i hadnt even heard it (lol) then i heard it...wow i heard 5 incredibly amazing voices blending beautifully together to create a sound that would help me get thru everything to come in my life. to be quite honest,i am confused at how i feel about the article. i mean,i am angry that nick would ever be so selfish, i mean i understand hes 22 and needs to experiment, but he is doing it at an extremely inconventient(sp?) time. the bsb are clearly at a high risk of breaking up,and it is mostly due to him(the guy who said *the only thing that will ever break us up is death*)yeah...sure nick. i am sorry that i ever beleived a word that selfish bastard said in the media...i feel like i have wasted 6 good years practically worshiping nick and bsb...for nothing.absolutely nothing has come out of it.ok..their music has helped me thru everything that i have gone thru in my life since the day i heard as long as u love me, my parents divorce,my grandmothers death,my mothers alchoholism(sp?) along with her attempted suicide, their music has helped me thru it all. i honestly thought nick cared about his fans...the article has clearly proved me wrong. i thought NSYNC were the sellouts..and..well..they are...but clearly nick has no problem selling out either. but i dunno..i AM 13 yrs old...maybe im just extremely neive...but if the bsb do break up after they release the album...oh mybad thanks to nick they wont ever release it....anyhow..ill only know im right and that i was right to beleive the article...and if any of the bsb are reading this..nick especially...i just want to let u know that u have really let me down. and breaking up would only prove your as weak as i used to think u were strong.~shelby

I think this article is a bunch of crap!!! BSB have been thru ups and downs and back again, and it doesnt matter how high their songs get on the charts, on TRL, the only thing its about AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT is THE MUSIC!!! With each album they made they have grown and matured by writing their own songs and dedications to us the fans and their mothers!! I have been a fan for 6yrs, and the act that they compare them to nsync is a joke. And for Nick's solo album- YOU GO BOY! it shows that they can still make beautiful music on their own or as a group; my man AJ's drinking problem may have put devastion on the group and us, but we still LOVE and SUPPORT THEM! In EVERYTHING they do our love and dedcation to these 5 amazing talented fellas will never die!! Whatver the critcs or newspapers say it doesn't matter b/c BSB ROK and their music is ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS!! Email for comments

God... this is so messed up that I don't even know where to begin.
We are all aware by now of the stupid, lame and horrible way that our boys have been treated by critics, music business and everyone else. As a part of the huge (yes we know it's huge and we gotta keep it that way) group of BSB fans spread all over the world, we gotta show everyone what BSB is really about. It's all about the music.
I don't care what MTV says, MTV is just crap. BSB made MTV's all around the world grow bigger and more popular no matter what people might say. This is true, we all know that. Not only MTV USA, but MTV Europe, MTV Latina, MTV Brazil, MTV Asia and whatever other MTV's there might be around the globe. MTV would never be as huge and popular as it is today if it wasn't for our boys. Our Backstreet Boys.
The interesting thing is that, like Lou crap Pearlman, they turned their backs on us. They turned their backs to the Backstreet Boys and pop music, the same music that helped them grow. They are acting like Judas. They are turning their backs on the ones that helped them out the most. MTV hates our boys. MTV hates pop music. So they just used pop music to grow bigger, and once they were on top they turned their back on pop and took out every pop program there was on. They diss pop. Make fun of pop fans. Of Backstreet fans. And what's even more hypocritical. Although they put pop down, they still put NSYNC up and shove them down our throats.
We are sick of hearing NSYNC. Their music sucks. They are just a pathetic attempt of "copying the well-known formula", as that horrid crappy man Lou Pearlman said it himself. Nothing but that. They never had to do any of the hard work our boys have been through. Because the doors were already wide open for them, they are just rats following the trace of food down the hallway. But they're gonna pay for it. Lou Pearlman's gonna pay for it. I hate him, he's a bastard who should burn in hell.
So everyone let's give our hands and show the whole world what the Backstreet Boys and their fans are all about. Let's show them we don't need no NSTINKers around. Let's put BSB right back on top!

B. S. B.
K. I. C. K. S.
A. S. S.

LET'S SHOW THE BOYS WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT! LET'S MAKE THE BOYS REMEMBER THE REASON THEY HAD FIRST STARTED. THE REASON WHY THEY ARE STILL THERE.

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY FOR THE BOYS - 2003!

KEEP THE BACKSTREET PRIDE ALIVE Y'ALL!

TOGETHER WE CAN KEEP THE BOYS ON TOP!:o)

Neil Strauss wrote the article in the NY Times. Good for him. You can email him at the-arts@nytimes.com

Everyone in New York read it. Hopefully everyone in the country will read it.

By the way, Nick's song "Help Me" kicks major Ass.
So let's help him. Let's help them. Get that song on the radio. I feel like it could go number one on the Billboard charts.

MTV tries to make it seem like BSB have lost all their fans. Wrong. We're just waiting. Waiting to attack. Now's the time. MTV also tries to dismiss us as Teenyboppers. I'm a 19 year old guy in college. How's that for Teenybopper?

Seeing the title of the article made me really angry when I first came to the site and saw it. I was like 'where did this guy come from? He's probably one of those stupid critics who could bad-mouth the guys even if they won a million grammys'. Then I started to read the article and I started to understand just exactly what has been going on these past two years. I agree with Kevin when he says that The Firm made some mistakes with the Boys, That they were sort of neglected.
What this article should really do is bring the fans closer together so that we can show people like the guy who wrote this that we aren't just some 12 year olds with wedding plans. We truly care about the the boys... When the new album comes out we have to keep the pride alive and show our support. Who cares if they don't sel a trillion copies in the first week like those Nsync guys... For its all about keeping it real, and I personally think that the Backstreet Boys have done an amazing job at that.

I'm a fan because of the music, and their hard work. Not because of how many records they sell, what number they are on TRL, what kind of clothes they wear, who they're dating or married to, and if MTV gives more credit to NSYNC... It's all about the music. This artical proves they've been through alot, and thats one thing I admire. So lets stop with the negative comments, and focus on the music, and their harmony... like it's suppose to be. I don't have to remind you of how talented they are because it shows everytime they sing. So lets keep the pride alive, and I like how one girl said for everyone to make it cool to like BSB again.. I couldn't agree more, especially because I am an older fan. Keep their music in your hearts forever.

Hi all!!!! My name is Orit and I'M 22 years old and though I'm not this huge Backstreet Boys fan
I loved their last two albums and I too think
that they are very talented guys. I read the article and from what I read I think the writer of this article agrees with all of us that the Backstreet Boys still have a chance to make it with their next album, although I hardly think they failed with the last one - I mean, OK so they didn't break Nsync record but so did Nsync with their last album "celebrity" right?! so, here is what I think, I agree at totally 100% with the guys that they didn't get enough attention from the firm and the record company as Nsync got (for example) or Britney Spears (for that mather), They didn't put themselves out there as they should've like Nsync did. I mean think about it, when is the last time you saw the Backstreet Boys performing live on tv or in an award show (and I'm not talking about presenting an award), when is the last time you saw them on TRL or any other show for that mather??...
now I'm not saying that it's their fault, if anything, after reading the article I'll say it's Jive's and The Firm fault!!!
In conclusion let me say that, I think the Backstreet Boys took the right call when they decided to take some time off befor releasing their next album, that way, they can take their time to write great songs and work with the right people with no presure from anyone, they can think more clearly and make the right moves and at the end give us all the best album ever and prove all the critics and all those people who quickly barried them and forgotten them, that they are still here and they're not going anywhere!!!
As for Nick Carter solo career - COME ON PEOPLE!!
SO WHAT!!!!! if anything he needs right from his fans is their support, he repeated himself millions of times at all interviews that he's not leaving the group, that he's doing BOTH!!! and he wants to make he's own thing, which is different from what the Backstreet Boys are doing, it's his dream, if anything, as a Nick Carter fan that you claim to be, you should want his dreams to come true and you should want him to make it. I mean if the boys are supporting him why shouldn't you!!
think of bands like Bon Jovi, Destiny's Child, especially Bon Jovi, John Bon Jovi did a solo album outside the group, had great success and still returned after that and did an album with the group and they are still around rocking! and Destiny's Child they still enjoying their big success and yet they decided to take some time off and try to have a solo career each.
so, don't worry and be supportive to the group and Nick carter (did you hear his new single "Help Me" isn't it great?!!!).

P/S
I the only one who can't understand why MTV chose to ignore completely the guys and not including them at the VMA's, I mean what about "The Call", "More Than That", "Drowning"????
it's like they never were NUMBER ONE ON TRL ALL THE TIME!!!! and sold MILLIONS!!! what's the deal with that??? and it's not like I hate Nsync or anything but why did they remember to give them the credit for "Gone" and "girlfriend" and no credit what so ever for the Backstreet Boys and their hard work!!!!

I can't speak for the rest of the BSB fans but I can say that I've never heard such a crock in my life. It sounds as if the media is blaming Nick and his solo project for all of this and it really isn't his fault.
Nick is 22 and he needs to explore and find out who he is? Yes I know that he's Nick Carter but he needs to find out who, exactly, Nick Carter is? He can't find out who he is if he's part of a group.
I think that in order for Nick to find out who he is as a person he needs to do this solo thing and tour by himself. :)

When I first read the article, it really hurt to know that what we think to be such a carefree life and an easy job can be so stressful and full of politics. I had never in my dreams imagined that record companies and management teams exercise so many rights over the artists that they represent.

BSB has been going through a lot of rough times lately and I'm really proud as a BSB fan because they haven't called it a day and said that it's all over and we've had enough. Giving up isn't the way and neither is falling apart. I wasn't happy with Nick's decision to carry on with a management team that BSB doesn't want anymore and I don't know how far Leighanne is responsible for Brian's decisions but if that is true, Brian should know better.

Most of the N sync and Bsb rivalry is created by media itself and I do not always like to believe what the media prints because most of the time they add their own stuff. I however, am not a fan of N sync because there is no way anybody can deny the similarity between backstreet and N stink sound. I hate them for it. N sync might be more popular in the United States but it is a known fact that BSB is more popular than N sync the world over and the world is definitely bigger than the united states. N sync has a long way to go (if they ever get there) before they can even claim to be as big as BSB.

I want to say that after all that the industry has put BSB through, especially some of the incidents that happened after aj went to rehab, particularly the one about Jamie fox and the mtv awards, BSB should stand together at all costs, take their time with their album, make it really big and blow everybody's socks off, show them what it's all about, prove that N sync is junk (for all those who think n sync is better) compared to them and then say that we're too good for you. You don't deserve us and THEN call it quits.

All of us fans are always there for BSB in whatever they do and all we can do is asure them that we will be there as long as they are and support them whole heartedly in whatever they do.

I tryed to organize my points as best as I could, but I am not good at organizing,so sorry if you get confused. Ok, here I go:

_First of all, the article made me realize how much more crap they had to go through than I actually knew about and made me respect them even more.
_I now realize how much I really hate Lou Perlman, not 'nsync, I mean, everything comes back to him, all of the problems, mostly everything they had to go through at the beggining of their career, and maybe even now, it's partially, maybe mostly, Lou Perlman's fault, somehow.
_ I know everybody says they are going through a hard time and every band goes through the same, but Don't you think they have had more than their fair share of problems? What problems have 'nsync gone through? Not many, they, and every pop act, have always had a free ride throgh fame becuase of BSB, and that I don't think is fair.
_I honestly think, with all of may heart, that the Backstreet boys are going to be with us for muuuucch longer than a decade, I'll explain why. The Backstreet boys have been together for almost a decade, a decade is a veeeery long time, maybe especially for me since I' so young, but it is a long time anyway; a decade is enough time to, as they have said over and over again ,become very close friends and even become brothers. They are very very close, and I think they would not feel right without eachother after a DECADE of being together, I mean they are brothers, and like real brothers, they can't say "no, I'm not his brother anymore" after all they have been through(probably everything possible).
I really don't think they are going to break up becuse of something they all support and agreed with: Nick's solo career. Maybe the timing is not the best, but maybe as he says it was "now or never" and I think everything is going to work out.
_I really want, and can not wait for the next Backstreet boys' album, but I rather wait for something amazing, then have them rush it and not be as good. It would of course still be good but I am ready to give them some time to put everything in order and start "Chapter 2" of their career, like a new and (If possible, if you know what I mean) better band.
_I beilive they won't be making as much mistakes since they have probably learned frome the ones they already did with their manegment companies, and I wish them the best of luck with the one they have now.
_To one comment of one person that wrote before me, I think that each and everyone of the Backstreet boys have unique and spectacular voices that join together for the most wonderful harmony this world has ever heard, which brings me to another point
_They could not survive without Nick not even if they tried (which i don't think they would do) nor if ANY of the Backsreet boys left. They would not, NEVER try to put another person in that BSB place, it would be an insult to the one that left and the fans, and they are too close to even think about doing that anyways.

Well, I think that is everything, If I think of something else I'll post it.
Thanks to everyone that has read this far and PLEASE cheer up and keep the Backstreet pride alive as we have done for so many years.

To all BSB fans

Are you angry, upset, hurt, betrayed over what you just read. Now is the time for payback. This is how we're gonna do it.

T H E P L A N I S T H I S :

1) MTV: MTV doesn't respect our Boyz. I don't know why. So we're gonna request/vote like crazy. Any contest or poll MTV is having, BSB will win.

2) Jive: E-mail the people at Jive. Give em a piece of your mind.

3) Radio: Radio is more important than videos. In order to get BSB back on top they have to have radio. Vote for BSB (group or solo stuff) as much as possible. On the phone. Through e-mail. Every bit helps.

4) Rumors: If somebody at a network, website, or radio show says/posts something false about BSB, let em know. Set the record straight.

5) TRL: The article confirmed that BSB is responsible for TRL's success. Yet, TRL has tried to push BSB out the back door. Don't let em. Request BSB on TRL as much as possible. For all the times you (MTV) have shoved Nsync down our throats, we're gonna shove BSB down yours.

6) Concerts: ClearChannel dropped the ball. But we all know the next BSB tour will kick ASS!!! Bigger and BETTER. Ticket prices will be low. And the guys will have fun. Be sure to catch the show.

7) Nick Carter: Justin is on Nick's dick. Nick goes solo, Justin goes solo. Nick puts his single out in August, Justin puts his out in August. We need to teach him a lesson. All of you who aren't sure about Nick's decision to go solo, so what. This is bigger than that now. Even if you don't support the solo album, buy it anyway just to stick it to Justin. He wants to be Nick so bad.

8) The girlfriends/wives: If the Boyz are happy, then we're happy, right? It should be that way. Leighanne, Kristin, and Sarah are good people. Respect them.

9) MTV Awards: If you're going to the VMA's, be sure to BOOOOOOOOOOOOO Nsync/Justin whenever they're mentioned. We have to make them pay.

10) The fans: We are a part of a great thing here. We are Backstreet fans. How cool is that? I'm sure a lot of you go to school and get made fun of cuz you say you like BSB. That's our fault. We have to make it cool again to like BSB. Enjoy yourself. Show people how much fun you have as a BSB fan. Then they will follow.

If we follow these guidelines, we'll be back on top in no time.

It's not about being the BEST, it's about being the BEST THAT WE CAN BE.

This article in the NY Times shows BSB being burned. But you know about the PHOENIX. We're gonna RISE from our ashes.

PHOENIX RISING
