Wow, I have to admit when I first heard the news I was surpised, jealous, and well extremely disappointed. being the pessimist I am, I started thinking about all the things that could happen. The group could break up to spend more time with their families, the group could just well tumble down to the bottom of the charts, and well, I guess I have to say, I was scared that the one group I actually liked wouldn't be there any more, and their music would be gone.

First of all, congrats to Kev and Brian! Now, onto my comments. Throughout the past 3 years (or more) us, BSB fans, have had to go through, I guess, I can say "tests". We've been through the "BSB won't last more than a year" test, Brian's heart surgery, the whole deal with Louis Pearlmen/Management, and a lot of other ones, but we've always continued to show our support for the Boys and shown who really belongs at the top. Now, it's the biggest test of all for us: some of the Boys getting married. I know lots of critics are just laughing right now cause they think the "Backstreet Backlash" has begun. I can't tell you all how glad I was when I heard the news on TRL. Contrary to a response I read:"Maybe if I show my support they'll marry me.(tee hee)" Um, no. For god's sake I'm only 14! I have never expected to marry a Boy...That's just PATHETIC! This announcement just goes to show you how much faith the Boys have in us. Unlike other groups who don't even want to admit that they have gf's (much less fiancee's), the Boys trust the fans enough to tell us. I can only hope most fans are taking the news well and not going anti-BSB just because of this. I totally respect their decision and will continue to support them and their music. After all, they did set out to do one thing: music.

The ONLY thing I'm disappointed about is that I didn't know this good news when I saw Kevin and then Leighanne at the hotel after the BSB concert on Valentine's Day, or when I saw John Norris at the next night's concert--I would've happily congratulated them! I wish Brian and Leighanne, and Kevin and Kristin all the best! Their engagements don't change the fact they are a great group of guys who make awesome music, and I will continue to enthusiastically support them.

Hi all!!! Well yes...i've heard the news.And i have to say that when i heard them both saying it i was a little shooked...although i knew someday this was gonna happen.Im really happy for both, Bri and Kev .Cause they are just two normal guys and normal guys get married...I'd like them to know that no matter what they do ill always be here to support them and to look up to their girlfriends or wifes from now on...If this is what they really wanna do the only thing we can do so they can be happy is to support them!! and what better way than making them know that we will always be here for them NO MATTER WHAT!and i respect my other partner fans opinions but ...hey if you think that they will never get married and have a real life just like any other human being this is for you: YOU ARE DEAM WRONG!And you all know the band wont fall apart just cause they're getting married...but

I have to say I was very shocked about it and yes I did cry becuz I love them so much but I think it is somethin' we are gonna have to accept becuz we are the fans and it is not our choice on their private lives. I do wanna tell brian and kevin congrats becuz I am happy for them but I hope this is not the beginnin' for them to tell us fans that they want out becuz this is when a lot of groups wonder off and I think it would be very unfair for us fans if they just left becuz they got married, becuz we have been there for them thoughout everything and I hope they aren't gonna take us for granted then leave with their women. I am happy for them but I hope they won't forget about us fans. I still love them even though this is not the same group of guys you looked at five years ago when they were just boys now they are grown up and ready for kids and gettin' married and I am happy a couple were gettin' to tie the knot. So my love for them is still about the same even though I know I am worried about a few things that might turn out when they all get married but still brian and kevin I love you both still and I wish for the best but please don't forget about us fans.

i am VERY happy for them both.leighanne and kristin look like very wonderful woman and brian and kevin deserve someone like that.when i saw the announcement on TRL,i was thinking about what carson said.he said that now that their about to get married,they might lose fans.(well he said it something like that)but thats what he meant.please,if you are so-called 'fans',support the boys in their desicions.and dont treat their girlfreind like dirt.for this reason you should love the bsb more because they announced it to the fans.they could of gotten married without telling us fans because it really isnt none of our bussiness.that goes to prove that they really love us fans.and for that,we should love them always,no matter what.thanks for reading!

I think its great that Kevin and Brian are getting married. I trust their judgement, and if they think they're doing the right thing, so should we. Congradulations to both of them. If Nick was getting married, then I would definetly be a little more worked up. But I would still TRY to be happy for him (TRY is the operative word there...lol!) But that is only because I know that he would be getting divorced soon. Because we are soulmates, and destined to be together. J/K..well..mostly...If only i didn't really believe that...hehehe.

Now, Now, Now, kids calm down did any of you actually think they should be single for the rest of their lives? Did you really think that it is written somewhere they are never to have real lives? Because if you know where it says that let me know I would like to see it. Sure I'm sad that it is not myself heading down the alter with one of them but does that give me the right to call people names?? No!! We should all as fans (apparently some of us were not that loyal) because we make a little thing like this turn on them I don't' think they need you then. (think about it) They have given up a lot in their lives to be where they are and I for one THANK them for that. What if they never even started the group? We would not have what they have given us. Sure without us they would not be where they are today but without them what would you have to listen to? If they were not the BSB would it even fase you if they were getting married or not? They have given up a lot for you and maybe if you true fans you should just think about what you are really saying. I'm really disappointed in all of you. If in fact not the kind of fan that wants their Stars to have real lives and be happy then maybe you should start liking Homer Simpson a little more. But if you are a true BSB fan then let's get together and be happy. As long as they keep on making what we LOVE and they keep on shaking their things on stage then just be happy. If their future mates treat them the way that they should be treated then be happy for them. Is that not what we all want?

I could sit here a cry boo hoo Kevin and Brian are doing what makes them happy. What jerks. Or I could sit here and be happy they found someone they truly loved and wantd to be with. I mean, I am doubting now how much longer they may be together. You know what I mean...they want to take time off to spend time making a family and then spend time with them...the unmarried ones will do solo stuff, but no. they aren't broken up. I am guessing there would be a renunion in about 30 years. I hope they stay together and prove everyone wrong and use their talent to its fullest, but if they go their separate ways, we can only wish them luck and happiness.

okay, i already wrote in this last night, but i have some more things to say. i still have a problem with people bashing kristen and ESPECIALLY leighanne. she's the one that seems to be the main target. i think people have made it a habit of saying that she makes him unhappy and she's a slut and such and such. first of all people, if she made him unhappy, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD HE MARRY HER????? he's marrying her because she MAKES hime HAPPY and he LOVES her. it would be none of your buisness even if she did make him unhappy. this is his decision people. simple as that. take it or leave it. and stop the rediculious rumors about these girls too. like the only reason kevin is marrying kristen is because she got pregnant. i'm sorry people, but i would hope that they both would have better judgement than that. not to mention more responsibility. and that leighanne got breast implants and she is 30 years old. i think both of these accusations, true or not, is something personal to brian and leighanne. so what if she is older?? that is his choice. you have no say in his life whatsoever. so back off okay?? i have one last thing to talk about and then i'll shut up. who in the world said that bsb was gonna break up??? these guys have been together for 7 years now. somehow i doubt that this will change things much. also, you must keep in mind that there will not be a backstreet boys forever. someday, sooner or later, they will move on. so even if this would, even though it won't, break them up.........they have the right. they've paid more than their dues. so sometime we'll just have to let em go. i hope this won't happen for awhile, but it will happen. i'm sorry, but i just thought of something else. all you fans saying that they "shouldn't get married cause they owe it to the fans." owe what exactly??? they don't owe us anything. granted, there wouldn't be a bsb without the fans, but it is our choice to like them. if you choose something, you don't get something in return except the fact that you get the chance to enjoy the music. and even if they would owe us something, it certainly wouldn't be in the form of HAVING to stay single and not marry your true love. i think that's asking a BIT MUCH don't you??

Just becuase they are getting married doesn't mean the end of backstreet boys. Lots of musicians and movie stars are married and have careers. Look at Celine, she is just now taking a break after 10 years. There are many others, too many to mention. Get over it!

Ok Hey I already posted and entry but then i went back and read some others and they make me sick. How the hell are you people going to go off and insult Kristen and LeighAnne? You dont even know these girls. You have no right to go off calling them skanks and sluts and so on. Your just jealous because you can't marry Kevin or Brian. Umm..... I'm really happy for them because they have someone to love and be happy with until death do them part. They have to move on in life and we will all move on in life too..the bsb will all eventually get married just like you and me.. Be happy for them don't be mad at them cuz they want to be with someone they care for and just because it isn't you they will spend there life with don't get mad that them.

I'm not sayibg that I am not happy for them but this just means that we are just getting closer to the end of the backstreet boys!!!!! I love the backstreet boys with all my heart and soul and I don't want to lose them!!
