thursday- concert night Lemme tell you the story bout' the concert that changed my destiny. Well first of all I'm 15 & Live in Vegas & when I heard that BSB were gonna have another concert here I flipped. I went to the millennium concert & to this day I still say it was one of the best days of my life. So anyway I stood in line for just about ever to get good seats & what I ended up with wasn't bad (3rd row on the side, second section) but I wanted better! My friend Shana (whom I met standing in a *N sync concert line, how ironic huh?) & I heard about a contest that a local radio station was having, the contest was, who ever could collect the most burger king logos (the lil burger thing) wins 6 backstage passes, 6,front row tickets, t- shits, cd's, & cd holders. The whole 9 yards. Well when when we heard that, we switched in to full force. We went to every burger kind & stole trash & dug through them, you can imagine how bad it smelled, we reeked of bbq sauce for a week. Well we ended up with 9,000 logos & we were sure we were gonna win. Well, we didn't, we got second place, which isn't bad, we ended up with 9th row. Well, this is the best part. My friends mom works at the mgm so she told us what room nick was staying in.So we went up to his floor & just stood around waiting for BSB life. About an hour after the show Nick walks off the elevator & walks right by me, I didn't freak at all & I'm surprised, being the big bsb fan that I am, well he walks right by us & I'm like "Hi Nick" He said "hey what's up" but kept walking. I guess he went the wrong way to his room cause he came back around. I said, "Hey nick, can I get a picture" He said "holdonlemmego&takeashower&illbebackdown" Does he not understand the concept of talking cause I barley heard him. Well, anyway after his shower & what not he came back down & walked right past us to the elevator. We asked him for a picture again & he asked us how long we were gonna be there & we told him "all night" & he said "Ok, when I come back I'll take a picture with you" then he goes down the elevator with no body guards, nothing. Is he nuts?!? Well, eventually after another hour he comes back up & we stop him, we get pictures autographs everything. Let me tell you, he's looking good! It looks like he lost weight, his arms look buff & his face looked good, he just looked good! I was really proud of him cause after we were done taking pics & talking to him, he turned to leave & this one BIG girl asked him for a picture. He didn't even want to take pictures with us, but I was really proud of him because he said "yeah, sure c' mon" He was really sweet, but he acts way different in person. On stage he's more crazy & loud but in real life, he's really quite & reserved. Well after that he went to his room & stayed there for a while but he came out like a bunch of times later. I'm surprised that he was out a lot. In the time of the coming & going of Nick, howie walked by. We said "hi" to him & he was on his cell so he just waved. When he was off we asked him for a picture but he said after we get back (We, meaning him & his lil' group of friends he was with) believe it or not I think howie was the rudest out of all of them, but he was nicer the second night, I'll get to that later.After howie left, kevin & his wife walked out of their room & walked toward the elevator, before they got to the door we stopped them & asked for a picture, his body guard was a real jerk & said NO! But kevin was cool about & said "sure, but just one" His wife was way nice & said "Oh kevin, we're not in that big of a hurry, we can take more than one" She was sooo cool, I was almost taken aback by how nice she was, I totally support the marriage! So about after 6 pictures of him & his wife they left & we just waited around for more BSB, no one was out, maybe because it was 3:00 am so we left.
Friday- no concert
Since there was no concert, my friends & I decided to just kick it on their floor hoping to see them, it was a looong day cause we were practically there all day & we didn't see anyone till around, later. While we were up there we met this one girl & her little group of friends. I guess the were staying up there cause they were eating the food they had up there (Free food! everything up there was sooo nice, almost like a mansion) We started up a convo with her & we were just sitting there talking when nick walked out. The girl we were with, said "hey" & Nick said "Hey, ashley, have you seen howie?" (I was like holy shyt!!! She must know them!!!) She said " No, but my mom isn't in my room & I don't have a key so can I just hang out in you room?" He said "Sure" & threw her his room key. As she was getting up she said "Do you want to come with us" I was like "HELLLLL YEAH!!!!" She asked Nick if it was ok & he said "yeah" So nick went down stairs again to gamble or whatever & we just went into his room. My first reaction when I walked in was "WOW" His room was nicer than my house! Probably bigger too! It had an upstairs & downstairs, a few rooms, a big living room that looked over the strip, a table for room service that was covered with room service plates. I couldn't make out what it was but it looked like left over chicken & pasta or something. There was a big tv with the internet. We just turned on the tv & ordered a movie. After a while I had to go to the bathroom (An excuse for me to wander around.) Well after I went to the bathroom I decider to take a lil' peak upstairs. I walked up there quietly so my friends wouldn't hear me. Up there was so nice it was kinda' like a giant room with a bathroom off to the side. Almost like a loft. The bed wasn't made & he had his suitcase next to the dresser, he didn't put his clothes in the dresser, DORK! Anyway, his clothes were were in the suitcase except for a shirt that was on the bed & socks & nike shoes next to the dresser. Being the BIG fan that I am I just had to take something, nothing of real value, I would never do that, so I took his sock that was stuffed in his shoe. I rolled up & stuffed it into my pocket. I decided to go downstairs before the girls decided to come looking for me. Well we just kept watching the movie when about an hour later nick comes back. He was on his cell phone so he just mumbled "Hi" & went upstairs. About a half hour later he comes back down to see what we're up to. He talks to us a while, nothing much, just "Great show Nick" "Thanks" "How do you like the tour so far?" "It's going good" He didn't talk much to my friend & I, maybe because he didn't know us. But he did talk to the girl we met, apparently she was a close friend of howie's. Well, after like 5 minutes he told us we had to go because he had to take a shower. So we left. When I showed my friend what I stole from him, she was so excited. But It kinda stank. LOL Sat- second concert Even though I didn't have a ticket, I decided to go with my friends to the mgm anyway because her mom might be able to get me tickets at the last minute. Before the concert, we were just wandering around when this lady comes up to us & asks us if we all have tickets, I told her I didn't & she asked me if I wanted one, I told her I didn't have any money & she said SHE'D GIVE IT TO ME!!!!!! How lucky am I?!?!? I was so excited that I hugged her, I didn't even know her, but I did anyway. My friends didn't want to see the opening act but I did so I ditched them & went in by myself. I got in a little late so krystal was singing her second song "Angel on my shoulder". I got to my seat (which wasn't a bad seat) but I wanted to get closer, I walked around to the side asked this one lady if I could go down there "It's just me, I won't cause any trouble & if there is one seat can I have it?" She was a little rude & said no so I went to this other guy & told him the same thing & he let me in! What a nice guy huh? well I ended up with 3rd row on the side & the concert kicked ass! Nick was on our side the most & he recognized my sign (Rock your body Nick, kisses) because I had it on the table in his room, he pointed to me & shook his butt & rubbed hs chest. The girl next to me thought he was pointing to her & she just about freaked out. Well after another concert, I decided to skip out on shape of my heart so I could get to the door that they come out of. Because of tight security I had to hide in this little hall like thing, then I see this guy in a blue robe with the hood up, Howie! when he came to us I asked nicely for his autograph & his bodyguard said no, but he said it was ok. i told him how much I liked the show & he said "thank you" He was much nicer! After howie went upstairs, brian & aj walk out. I stopped them & got their autograph & what not. I didn't get pictures because I wasted all my film on the first concert night. Well, hell, if I knew I was gonna meet the backstreet boys I would have saved some damn film, LOL but I didn't so...I didn't get a picture of Howie aj or Brian :( O-well, that was my weekend with the backstreet boys, some of my friends at school didn't believe my story, but you know what? I don't care, because I know I met them & I know I had a kick butt time & no one needs to believe me but me. I have pictures & autographs to prove it! I had no idea what was going to happen that weekend, I was just a fan who wanted to see them in concert. So there's a lesson in my adventure, BE NICE TO STRANGERS! If it weren't for that girl, I would have never gotten to go in Nicks room, & if it weren't for that lady, I wouldn't have gotten to go to the second concert. I'm a big religious person & I feel that god had something to do with that, he takes care of us in weird ways. So put your trust in god & you'll be surprised.

OMG. Have you people went to groupiecentral.com. Have you seen those weird stories about BSB especially about Nick and AJ. Whoa. Those were suprising.

March 14 is a day ill never forget! This is the day i got to see AJ face to face! Well i got to the staples center around 2:00 in the afternoon and around 3:55 pm i see a bus, and the next thing u know its coming my way! ok so by now im shocked! so as it passes right infront of me i see the window open, and right there infront of me is AJ!!! well by then i decide to cross in the middle of the road with all these other girls screaming, but then theres this car thats trying to get through and I see Aj with a worried face, u could tell he was watching out for us but oh my god! as soon as i saw him i froze and forgot about my camera! so then i like wake up or something and get my camera to take pix! u should have seen him he looked so cute with his braids and his red bandana! this is the day ill never forget i love bsb and cant wait for there summer tour! ktbpa!!!!!! peace

When I went to Backstreet Boys B&B concerts I had row 17 side stage seats and when Kevin came side stage area then I saw Kevin and then I saw A.J. when I waved at him back he waved at me back and after that A.J. phone was ringing and he wants to know if he should answer the phone then every fans say yes for him to answer his phone his girlfriend called on the phone after that he sang The Call Howie came out with long hair then Nick came along with Howie I hope they come back year 2002 at the Oakland area and get front row or get backstage passes to meet and greet them =O)

hello. i really didnt have an encounter but i seen aj in his tour bus before the concert on 3/14/01 and he was waving at everyone and i took a lot of pictures of that. As his bus was going bye my mom was the only one standing somewhere and AJ waved at her and now she is saying AJ is her favorite baackstreet boy. i couldnt believe i seen aj so close because i ran up to the tour bus like everyone else. i also got to see the twin guy dancers. they are so cute and i took a picture of them. i ran out of film on the fourth BSB song.

Okay guys mine was really weird here and everybody at the AZ concert could have been there to greet AJ and Howie and 2 more of the guys but they didn't put together our screams with a big black bus.
See we had just finished the concert and I had already been on my buying spree. I was wearing a BSB shirt and a BSB bandana and lucky me holding the AJ picture I had bought on top of all my other junk.
So we walked out of arena after calling our ride. We were listening and singing with some radio station and I thought I saw my mother pull up so I was all okay Liza walk and we did but when we saw it was not her we began to walk back. But a huge white bus passes by slow. Nobody was in window and we thought hey you know their buses are black.
Well right after we started to walk up street looking for my mother and out of the corner of my eye I saw a huge black bus turn the corner a block away. Well I ran and I think my buddy Liza saw it as well too you know. Cause she started to run. Anyway we waited on corner for it with about 10 other girls and boom it comes up and slow it does. Stops and we see AJ sitting in front window. His mom was there and we started to scream and I began to do the normal fan stuff and freak out.
He was wearing his concert suit still. Green tank top but he was also wearing a BSB bandana. So sweet. He was drinking a pop when he looked out. So funny because he looked so shocked. He turned to his mom and back to us and began to wave to each one of us there.
Nobody even noticed the huge bus stopped only 10 feet from AWA entrance and people didn't even consider the screaming! Bet they feel dumb!
Anyway I began to look for Liza after he pulled away because AJ is my favorite and when I found her I was close to tears and gave her this big huge hug. She was freaking out too.
See the security van pulled up right by me and began to get the crowd away. I was about 2 feet from AJs face. I was smack in front of window. It was so cool. So AJ saw me and he gave me this weird look. But the security jumped in front of me and started to push me back.
Well so as I said we were freaking out and people started to leave making the 10 people like 5 or 6 and boom here comes another bus. This time it was Howie. Howie seemed so sweet. He looked at us all and just smiled. I think we really touched him. Once again I was in front. lol. Just before we had talked to security and kinda sucked up so they didn't pull me back from Howie. I guess Liza told me they pulled her back from Howie.
I now have a new respect for Howie. lol. He was wearing a red shirt and had his hair pulled back! Very sexy looking. He was not stopped as long as AJ but it was all good.
Well than we talked to security again and were still waiting for my mother and the one guy said he thought there was one more bus to come this way because some went this way and some went that way. Well we waited and he was all hummm maybe it went the other way and boom. Right as he says that another white bus comes by. White was BSB. I felt really dumb. lol. Anyway no boy was sitting in the front window but we still screamed and that bus honked the horn twice.
It was all good. lol. I was happy and the funny thing was right after the white bus had begun to pull away my mom pulls up and I jump in car throw my junk on floor and told her to follow the white bus. She didn't even see it. lol. It would have been nice but the concert was so cool seeing them that close topped off the best night of my life. Ever.

AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!Hiya!!! You guys should come to England! We met them- twice! They were over promoting shape of my heart in November and did a single signing. Wow!!! They all look even more gorgeous in real life! Brian was a bit moody but Nick made up for it by giving us a kiss-YES! The Sex God himself!!!! Kevin, Aj and Howie were so lovely. Kevin shook my hand and Howie and Aj were really chatty and friendly!!! Then we saw them whisked away in their cars. The next day they were doing Tv work, so we went to the studio. The were late and we were freezing! but when they arrived there was only a few of us! THEY WERE STANDING IN FRONT OF US!!!!! AJ stopped to talk and the others all waved and said hi. We managed to get let in to the studio and be in the audience! They sang live and took part in a quiz and we spent the next hour 3 metres away from them! HEAVEN!! and then we got to see them leave again! WOW!!!!!!!
Cant wait till the Black and Blue tour (if it eva gets here!!) and to meet them again!

Okay, so I didnt' get to see them in person, but some people I know did. So, last Thursday and Saturday BSB were in Las Vegas. Well, so was I for a big Winterguard competition.So, our first night there (Thursday) we all went out on the Strip and our instructors went off on their own cause they're all over 21 and they're got this curfew thing going in Vegas. ANYWAY, they're in the MGM Grand's casino about midnight when HOWIE walked in!! He got mobbed, ran for his life, and the people who rushed him got in deep trouble.
They wander around for a few minutes, when who should they spot sitting at the poker table talking on his cell phone??? NICK!!!! Luckily, Dennie had his camcorder with him so he taped a little of Nick until security spotted him and made him turn it off!!! (I found out about all this the next morning when they announced it to everybody who would listen, namely me.) Meanwhile, Rush Hour 2 is being filmed in Vegas, and we saw the set of the "Red Dragon Hotel". Apparently, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker were actually there!!!
God, I love Vegas!! Not bad for my first visit there, huh??? KK

I went to Backstreet Boys concerts at the Oakland area at March 1 2001 my favorite Backstreet Boys is A.J. their concerts was so amazing and they are wonderful performer I hope they come back 2002 =O)

Iv'e never really had a bsb encounter before but i feel like one of the most luckiest bsb fans in the world...... cuz i have connections with the bsb. Ya see my aunt Chrstine has a friend named "Tammy" and Tammy's husband's cousin is one of the managers to the bsb or something to that affect. Eventhough iv'e never met them or gotten anything from them, i still feel pretty special knowing that i got connections. So, with my prayers and wishing maybe just maybe i"ll meet them. KTBPA!!!!!!

Ok first of all I want to say that I love BSB more than anything!!Until this year I have never gotten to close to them.I went to 2 concerts on this tour..one in Minneapolis and one in Grand Forks.The day before the Minneapolis concert we found out where bsb was staying! We went down there and waited and waited. Around 11 we saw none other then NICK CARTER...he was wearing his green xzibit sweatshirt, white cargo pants and a white beanie but his hood was on. He was with his body guard and a girl (girlfriend??).He shook but friends hand but kept walking. We were all in shock. There were only like 10 of us there. He got in the elevator and was literally standing RIGHT infront of me and we all took pics. My friend was like I love you nick and he half smiled and waved. The next day all my friends saw leighanne and howie there unfortunately i didnt. I met leighanne the next night and she was really really nice.I also met Aaron Carter the next week and he was nice also!

Hey ya'll! I was just reading the encounters stories and it got me so excited! I have never met the Boys either, but here's my story. This was back during the Millennium tour...I went to the Kansas City show with my two sisters and my friend...anyways, we had 8th row and luckily we had seats right by the isle where they fly over then then at the end walk by! Therefore, I got to touch every single Backstreet Boy. I was soooo excited when I figured out that they were going to be walking right by us. There were lots of security people standing on the inside of the guard rail things, but I had perfect position. There were tons of girls outstretching their hands, wanting to touch the boys, so when they ran by most of them kind of ducked down so they wouldn't be clobbered. LUCKILY...my favorite, love of my life, Nicky, didn't duck down so I got to actually touch his chest and little belly that he hates so much. It was great. After they all walked by, I was just standing there like, "OH MY LORD...I JUST TOUCHED NICK." I wish you all could've been there!!! KTBSBPA!

hi! well i have met BSB!! they came over to the UK in Nov 2000 to do a signing at a record store and i was 1 of the lucky 500 people that met BSB that night!! brian gave me a huge so did nick and kevin shook my hand and said 'please to meet you' i was like OMG this is BSB!!!!!to this day i am still on cloud 9!!!!!!
