I totaly agree with you! They deserve to be thanked as much as they thank us *the fans* if not more. If I ever got the chance to meet them I would treat them with as much respect as I would want to be treated. They have to get tired of have girls scream in there face. All artist must get tired of that. I read a letter that Justin from nsnyc supossedly wrote and wether he did or not I have no clue...but it made me think. It has to be hard to have to always smile for the cameras and having to always be careful of what you say. You wouldn't want to offend anyone and loose your fan base because of it. And though as flatering as it may be I know I would get sick of being screamed or grabbed at by every person I meet. They must appreciate it when a fan stays calm and actually talks to them like they're normal people. I will say that I would probably be screaming my head off on the inside if i met BSB but I would make sure I acted like a normal person and treated them as if they were someone I'd talk to on a normal everyday basis. I could go on and on about this subject lol but I won't!! Oh and If the BSB happen upon this and read it...thanks...you guys are truely an insparation!!

Love Always and KTBSPA!!!

I just had a similar conversation with my best friend.

I think many people forget that these guys are just like every one else. They have worries and dreams, fears and hopes. They are REAL people and we as fans need to remember that.

i absolutely agree with everything you've written. in my encounter with other celebrities, i have seen that they just want to be treated like regular people. they deserve privacy, respect and thanks from us. they give up so much for us. is it so hard for us to give back? i have never met any of the backstreet boys, but my heart goes out to them. i thank them for being a positive force out of many in my life. if people would let God take care of there desire to meet them, and one is lucky enough, please thank them. let's be to howie,a.j., kevin, nick and brian the way we want to be treated; not mobbed, startled and otherwise freaked out by fan behavior (standing this close to them). rather, be kind, polite and otherwise treat them like people. think about it, the only things that make them different from us is that 1. they make way more money than most of us, and 2. we can go to the store without being chased, mobbed or smothered. thanks so much.

I totally agree with her because I have been a fan for three years and have respected them as people as well as performers through all of it.

Hey Nina, what has age got to do with anything. You say that you agree with this lady, then do'nt go on about her age. I am 44 and a huge fan of the BSB. You can love the boys no matter what your age. And Lori was right in what she said. There are far to many fans that think that creeping into their hotel rooms, ringing them at all hours of the day and night and stealing their stuff is the true measure of a fan. Well, it do'sent impress me at all it just makes that particular fan look immature.

We all love the BSB and show it in different ways, but just show a little maturity and think before you act.
